“Tough times never last but tough people do…” That’s been my motto for the last 2 weeks. But when my husband, Joseph finally returned home after a very difficult emergency operation, the news was not quite what we expected. One terrible word that no one wants to hear: Cancer. Ahead of us is 6 months of chemotherapy and whatever else comes with it. So I will be taking this week off to spend time with my family and think through the situation.
