So thrilled to present you one of my favorite summer nail polish collections – Dior Wild Earth for summer 2019. The new summer 2019 beauty collection is inspired by the savage atmosphere of Terra Incognita and mostly includes warm earthy tones like bronze, nude and brown.
However, much to my delight there is also a vibrant turquoise, which adds just the right amount of fun and edginess to the other wise classic summer collection. Plus, this vibrant blue works really well paired with the brown, orange and nude and it looks amazing on a slightly tanned complexion. I can confirm that because I have already tried it during my recent trip to Noosa ;) That’s where I took these photos, right on the beach!
Dior Wild Earth collection includes 4 limited edition nail polishes and 1 summer nail care top coat:
- 425 Terra Gold – a nude beige creme (not pictured)
- 536 Orange Sienna – a bright orange creme
- 826 Wild Earth – a warm brown creme
- 708 Blue Drop – a bright turquoise metallic
- 026 Sunglow – a shimmering protective top coat
While Terra Gold, Orange Sienna and Wild Earth have a classic creme formula, Blue Drop is vibrant metallic shimmer which looks mesmerizing on nails.
As for Sunglow, this shimmering topper with a mix of luxurious gold and bronze shimmer offers protection for your nails from sun, sand and saltwater. It’s very sheer, so it’s ideal for those of you who prefers natural nail look on vacation but still want to keep their nails well groomed. It can be applied applied alone or as a top coat over your favourite nail colour to enhance your manicure with an iridescent shimmer.
With regards to the formula, Dior nail polishes are flawless. The colours are fully opaque with just 2 – 3 thin coats. The pictured swatches are 3 coats with a top coat. The formula is 5-free and enriched with organic silicon, which will make your manicures last longer.
And in fact, the new generation formula Dior polishes are extremely long lasting. I wore Blue Drop during my recent holiday in Noosa on both nails and toes. It lasted for 6 days without any chips, until I removed it from my nails and it is still going on toes (3rd week!).
Now over to you!
Which colour from the new Dior summer 2019 nail polish collection is your favourite?
