This Sunday I finally got to try Dance Legend Chameleons, a collection that I’ve been waiting for for a very long time. 5 months to be precise! Starting with Dance Legend 091 Boggs, a blue multichrome. The colour ranges from bright purple to blue and even gold. It’s so beautiful I found it slightly mesmerizing.
To avoid taming natural beauty of this stunning multichrome polish, I opted for a simple two toned nail design. The light blue striping tape detail was added to make the distinction between the blue chameleon and opaque black parts more prominent. If you’re planning on recreating this design, make sure the striping tape detail on each nail aligns to form a straight line when you bring all of your nails together.
Given my recent unpleasant experience with another multichrome, I expected something to go wrong with Dance Legend Boggs too. However, regardless of it’s comical name, the polish is fantastic to work with, dries very quickly, is well pigmented (pictured only 2 coats) and goes on evenly without any streaks. Those Russians really know how to make multichrome polishes!
If you need a tutorial for this manicure, just refer to our French Chevron nail tutorial from the SoNailicious ebook or our recent Geometric French Tip Nail tutorial.
Used: Dance Legend 091 Boggs (blue), Revlon 731 Knockout (black), striping tape and Essie Good To Go top coat.
So what do you think about these two toned nails with chameleon polish? How do you like the stunning Dance Legend 091?
