Here’s the third Fashion Week inspired manicure in collaboration with OPI Australia! These Minimalist pink and white nails were inspired by C/MEO Summer 2018 collection. This time I drew inspiration from the colours and general feel of the collection rather than directly recreating the pattern. Light pink was the dominating colour in the collection. It was present in almost every outfit as the main colour or as a contracting detail, like the pink fur boa (pictured below). While it is questionable whether the fur boa, even if it’s a pink one, can be worn during the boiling hot Australian summer, but it’s certainly can be (and should be!) translated into a fabulous summer nail design.
There are two great things about this design. First of all, it can be done in any other colours to suit your mood or outfit, like here’s a purple version. And second, it can be freehand painted or done using stencils! Whichever suits your nail art skill level best ;)
To learn how to do it yourself see this step-by-step tutorial.
Used:
- OPI ‘Infinite Shine’ Alpine Show
- OPI ‘Infinite Shine’ Pretty Pink Perseveres
- OPI ‘Infinite Shine’ We The Female
- OPI ‘Infinite Shine’ base & top coat (all OPI colours available in Australia – here)
- SoNailicious 02 Needle nail art brush – to paint the straight lines and mini half moons
- SoNailicious 04 Slayer nail art brush – to clean up
So, out of the three Fashion Week inspired manicures, which one is your favourite so far?
And, what do you think about my interpretation of C/Meo collection – nailed it or failed it?
