Here’s my second Fashion Week inspired manicure! These Candy Nails were inspired by Karla Spetic Summer 2018 collection. The delicate pink and white colour combo is too good not to try it on nails. While flower prints are dominating in the collection, I went for the abstract shapes of the bright underwear (or is it swimwear?) that models are wearing underneath the sheer dresses. Initially I was really keen to create a dry brush nail design inspired by the far left look but somehow orange doesn’t suit my skin tone. So I opted for a sheer white and pink combo (far right look) and very happy with the result!
A great advantage of this nail design is that it can be easily recreated in any other colour combination to suit your mood or outfit. For instance, these abstract Blue and Red nails were also inspired by the patterns Karla Spetic collection. Whether you do it with pastel colours or brights, this Candy manicure will look equally beautiful.

So, what do you think about my interpretation of Karla Spetic’s designs – nailed it or failed it?
