Everybody wants to have beautiful, smooth and young looking hands. We’ve talked a lot about cuticle care and manicure routines, now it’s time to discuss the importance of hand care. It’s obvious – a flawless intricate manicure will lose it’s appeal on dry and rough hands.
Hand creams are one of those products that often people seem to economise on or skip completely. We buy expensive mascara but consider $12 for a hand cream going overboard. Why? The difference between a luxury hand cream and one from a supermarket is similar to a lipstick from a $1 stand or a MAC counter. Of course, everybody has different budgets, but if you’re serious about your hands looking their best, then it’s time to invest!
Clarins New Age-Control Hand Lotion SPF 15 is one of the new generation of hand creams that seem to do it all. It moisturises, protects, strengthen nails and even lightens the appearance of dark spots. Most surprising and to me, however, is that the new Clarins hand cream is actually makes your hands look younger by toning and smoothing the skin. It also contains Myrrh extract that, as we know from our Korres nail polish review, helps to heal skin and strengthen nails. Did I mention it’s quickly absorbed and not greasy (see photo below)? All of that and the inclusion of UVA/UVB filters make this Clarins hand lotion a must.
Verdict:
Clarins New Age-Control Hand Lotion delivers on its promise 100%. Suitable for dry skin. The only problem is that it’s addictive. Most likely, you’ll end up applying this lotion on your hands all the time and it is very likely you’ll keep re-purchasing it. That’s exactly what we do now!
