Tonight is the night! The annual Vogue Fashion Night Out (VFNO) is on again. This one-night shopping extravaganza will hit fashion capitals (except for New York this year) all around the world tonight. It’s a fantastic event with exclusive shopping offers, beauty treatments, live runway shows and VIP parties. So if you’re lucky to be in one of the participating cities… go! Not just to shop, but to see all the events, get some nice complimentary champagne, sweet treats and who knows you may even bump into some celebrities!
For us nail polish addicts, here are the major events:
1. CHANEL Fall 2013 Nuit Magique Limited Edition Collection Nail Polishes
True to tradition, this year CHANEL has created a duo of limited edition nail polish shades as part of the Nuit Magique collection. One, ‘Cosmic’, a deep black with silver and blue flecks, the other, ‘Magic’, a rich, but not overly intense, classic blue. Part of the collection is an intense black eyeliner with silver shimmering particles which will allow you to recreate the silver sequin look seen on models at the CHANEL Fall 2013 fashion show. This limited edition collection will be available at CHANEL boutiques during your local Fashion Night Out.
In our experience, the limited edition nail polish shades usually sell out on the night and it takes about a year till they become available again. So if you’re keen to get your hands on these ‘it’ shades, here’s your chance!
2. Free Dior Couture Inspired Manicures
Inspired by crystal lips and Swarovski encrusted eyes, Dior has created a sparkling manicure that is set to become the Fashion Night Out hit! Dior manicurists will be using a powdered glitter that has been made available specifically for the evening. The powders, Sparkling Gold and Sparkling Black powders, along with the base coat will be available for purchase as a limited edition box set.

Note for Sydney based nail polish enthusiasts: make sure you visit Essie‘s stand on Pitt Street from 5-10pm. Essie will be offering mini manicures, gifting bespoke lolly bags and Priceline discounts.
