SoNailicious turns four this weekend! With all the activity surrounding the big SoNailicious launch next week, I almost forgot about it. Even with so much to remember and celebrate! This small but mighty blog grew from 12 readers to over 40,000 nail art warriors. And, I had a honour of sharing SoNailicious designs on a large scale by designing my own nail wrap collection and even presented at Beauty Expo Australia. That’s the power of nail art!
The most important achievement however is the community that we’ve built here. It’s been fantastic meeting and getting to know you. Some of you we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in person at Nail Stars events and Beauty Expo. My story is gonna make me look like I’m the #1 stalker of Maria “SoNailicious”?.
Around February 2015 I found SoNailicious through Tam “OhMyGoshPolish” ?.
She was wearing one of the rings ?from SN Boutique.
As soon as I saw Maria’s perfect designs I click that follow button. Inmediately I started to “copy” (try to copy?) her designs. So far I have recreated 9 of them ( and more to come)
The first one was her minimalist V-Day nails.
I have been featured a couple of times on two of her accounts ?(SoNailicious and SoNailiciousBoutique) Because obviously I have 4 of those gorgeous rings?
I have also participated in all her 4 nailartchallenges ??
For the first 3, my designs were choosen in the top 20 and were featured on this page and on the last one I was honored to be in the top 3 finalists??. Last year I was drooling over the Nail Art Fashion Week…this year I decided to join and as a true nailartwarrior I finished it. My design “inspired by a bag” was featured on her ig. ?????.
I follow Maria on ig, twitter, pinterest, facebook and I subscribed to her YouTube channel even before she posted her first video.
