If you like delicate manicures, you’re going to enjoy this Pantone Color of the Year inspired manicure. I’m one of these people who gets excited about Pantone‘s the colour of the year announcements, it’s a great way to push your creative boundaries and add a new element to nail art. By leaving your favourite colours aside and experimenting with something completely unexpected (like last year’s Marsala!), you are bound to surprise yourself. This year, for the first time I’m blending two pantone shades – Rose Quartz and Serenity as both were selected as the Color(s) of the Year. So be it!
To me, this delicate duo has a lot of appeal. The 2 colours open the doors to countless nail art experiments. I’ll start with this simple yet chic Half Moon Manicure. This nail design was entirely hand-painted. After a lot of practice with my nail art brushes, it’s pretty quick for me to do any kind of French manicure now. However, if you need a 100% guarantee flawless look, use these stencils for a perfect curve. This step-by-step half moon manicure tutorial is also very helpful.
