DAY 18 – Summer Sunset Ombre nails
Ombre nails were one of the biggest nail trends of 2012 and their popularity is only increasing in 2013. No wonder, ombre nails are so uniquely beautiful and the colour palette is enormous! From statement neon ombre nails to classic beige or black for the day. As for my nails, there were inspired by the sunset colours that I saw while in Melbourne. Watching sunset over the beach is one of my favorite things to do in life.

They turned out so pretty! And you’re right: ombre is not at all easy to accomplish: I can do ok with two colours but the last time i tried with three, like you’ve done here, it turned out a big no-no manicure! :/ haha

My pleasure, Mina! Maybe try different make-up sponges until you find The One? Also, not all nail polishes are suitable for ombre. Usually thick cremes are the best to work with when doing ombre. Just keep trying, I’m sure you will succeed! x
