Nails-wise New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 shows have been fantastic! While mostly it was simple, low-key and minimalist nail art, there was quite a bit of it! From cult classic nail art at Ruffian to innovative manicures at Kate Spade… let alone the nail polish collaborations with designers like Prabal Gurung and Sally Hansen.
Two-tone nails, matte finishes, sheer nudes and bright, fruity shades will be the main trends for Spring 2014. All runway nail art is quite easy to re-create and it often requires only two polishes. So we predict there will be a lot of such manicures seen in the next season.
