Dior Sudden is the colour that I picked for my second Dior Spring 2017 inspired nail design. If you like bright nails than this powerful pink is right up your alley. The name of the polish speaks for itself, it’s so vibrant and rich. Plus, the formula includes stunning fine silver shimmer, which is not visible on the photos because this pink blinded my camera but it adds extra shine and depth to your manicure. So if you’re going to visit Dior beauty counter sometime soon, make sure you try Dior Sudden.
As for the nail design, the same like this look it is entirely free hand painted. Believe it or not, but I’m finally getting my brushes right. Yes, I didn’t give up on this project I just needed time to develop the perfect product. It’s worth the wait! Just check out the silver detail on the design – each of the lines were done in one stroke. Freehand nail art is easy when you have the right tools for it. And I do now and soon we’ll get the opportunity to get them too! Make sure you’re on the list.
UPDATE: the SoNailicious nail art brushes are out now! See the new range here.
For the colour scheme I opted to pair bright pink nail polish with white and pale pink. Light colours soften the intense Dior Sudden making this manicure look balanced and somehow more feminine.
Used:
- Dior Sudden, available here and here USD $27 and here AUD $41;
- Dior Miroir and Lilac,
- OPI Alpine Snow
- Essie Gel Setter top coat
- Striping nail art brush
Wearing: Platinum Knuckle ring.
So there you have it, the second look. So far which colour/design do you like more – peach or pink?
And, stay tuned for the next design! It will be something very different from my usual style…
