Dior Spring 2017 nail polish collection is without doubt is one of the most interesting this season. Contrary to the typical Chanel Coco Code‘s nudes and reds and surprisingly dull YSL Street Art lacquers, Dior Gradation colours are vibrant and original, – exactly what spring is about. Just wearing these colours on your nails make you burst with anticipation for spring with it’s bright sun, clear sky and fresh blooms.
The new Dior Spring 2017 nail polish collection includes 4 limited edition colours:
- Sudden 873 – rich peony pink creme
- Maybe 340 – vibrant peach creme
- Early 505 – bright lemon green creme
- Now 800 – dark forest green creme
The colours are more than just typical cremes. Their formulation contains extra fine silver shimmer, that is more visible in Now, Early and Sudden. The shimmer brings depth and vibrancy to the colour and makes your manicure shine bright like a diamond without actually seeing any shimmer.
As for the formula, it’s flawless always, Dior never disappoints. The four polishes are a treat to apply – fully opaque and glossy with just 2 coats for Now and Sudden and 3 coats for Early and Maybe. The pictured swatches are without a top coat. The formula is enriched with organic silicon and does not include toluene, formaldehyde, phthalates or camphor.
Availability: on shelves now – here $27 per bottle and Australia – $41 here. These polishes are limited edition, so don’t delay!
Needless to say, I quite like this collection, so I thought I’d do something extra with it. Every day this week I’ll be showing different nail designs featuring one of the new Dior colours. The first design will be up tomorrow, make sure to come back to check it out!
Now, let’s see how well you know me, which colour do you think I’m going to use first? Have a guess in the comments below!
