4. Chanel Rouge Noir, 13ml USD $28.00 here
Chanel Rouge Noir is the very first dark red nail polish ever. It’s a classic colour now, but when in 1994 this almost black lacquer was revealed for the first time to the world, it instantly became a worldwide sensation. Till these days Rouge Noir remains one of the most popular colours worldwide. It looks very elegant and flattering on, while the new improved formulation enriched with ceramides protects nails and ensures a long lasting manicure. For a more affordable alternative try Essie’s Wicked – it’s similar, but not the same!
5. Christian Dior ‘Diorfic’ Minuit, 12 ml n/a Limited Edition
Diorific Minuit falls in the middle of the colour spectrum and is far from your typical dark red nail polish. The lacquer is infused with a festive golden shimmer and will dazzle on your nails like a luxury embellishment. The only downfall, this colour is a limited edition and is not available anymore, but keep a lookout on Dior’s website or eBay, and you may get lucky. Here’s a full review and more swatches of Diorific Minuit.
