Halloween is over, but black is here to stay! So chic and always on trend, black nails are suitable for almost any occasion. Today’s minimalist black nail design is the upgraded, more evening-like version, with cuticle art and studs. It was inspired by the balance of light and darkness… Plus, I’ve been looking for a new way to use my beloved extra-wide striping tape. So there you go, spirituality and practicality combine in one look.
HOW-TO: to get this Minimalist black design follow this tutorial. If you need some suggestions, here’s my list of the best black nail polishes. I used the one-coater Dior Black Out, which made it super easy and quick for me to do this manicure. It literally took about 20 minutes. So, it’s essential you have some great blacks in your stash! They’ll save your time (and money).
As for the decor, I used these silver studs, small black rhinestones and also pieces of extra wide striping tape.

- Dior Black Out
- Silver studs

- Straight Line nail stencils
- Cuccio High Gloss top coat

The great thing of this black nail design is that it will look fabulous in almost any colour! So if you’re not a fan of black, there are plenty of other colours/room for experimenting.
