Fall is often associated with darker colours and melancholy but it doesn’t has to be! Maybe in Europe where if you get one sunny day in October that would be considered a miracle but it certainly is not the case in Australia. Autumn here is almost as vibrant and sunny as summer with lots of things to do and fabulous nail art is as appropriate as ever.
When the new Mavala Eclectic Colors Fall/Winter collection has arrived at SoNailicious HQ, I was impressed by the colour range (first photo). The new nail polishes are certainly very autumnal yet vibrant and elegant, which makes them suitable for any season. While I was swatching them I’ve immediately imagined a few Fall nail designs with the new colours. Two of the best ideas I’m sharing with you today! Enjoy…
1. Geo Fall Nail Design
- Mavala Mava-Strong nail strengthener (base)
- All Mavala polishes: 239 Barcelona (new Eclectic collection), 365 Cortina (First Class Collection) and 163 Black Oyster
- Mavala Colorfix top coat
- SN Warrior brush
2. Warm Waves Nail Design
Warm Waves Fall nail design, using:
- Mavala Mava-Strong nail strengthener (base)
- All Mavala polishes: 268 Budapest and 270 Firenze (new Eclectic collection), 318 Spitzberg and 193 Copper Gold
- Mavala Colorfix top coat
- Special appearance: Mavala Wine Red, Sweet Lady and Brown Cookie lipsticks from the new Mavala Sensation collection
- SN Striping Nail Art brush
Case in point, as you see the new Fall Mavala nails colours work beautifully with the colours from the previous collections, even those from Summer and Spring! Also I quite like the names – so clever and somehow inspirational. Have you noticed? (hint: first photo) All polishes are named after the cities that are great to visit in Fall. Something to add to your Travel Wish List ;)
Now, over to you!
What’s your favourite nail colour from the new Mavala Eclectic Colors collection, and which nail design do you like the most – Warm Waves or Geo Fall?
