The 80s are so hot right now! I’m talking more about cool graphic prints than giant shoulder pads and mega-perms. There’s so much nailspiration in 80s fashion. You can do a new nail design every day and you won’t run out of ideas anytime soon. So if you ever need a fresh nail art idea, just google ’80s print’.
For my 80s nails, I opted for a spiky print in black over pink and white. I don’t remember exactly what inspired this design, I sketched in my Little Book of Nail Art on my last trip to Europe. I thought this pattern would be a great opportunity to showcase my new Liner nail art brush and I was right. It was easy to create this pattern with the Needle, even a thinner version, I could easily do so…
Watch this video tutorial to see how you can do it yourself!
By the way, this 80-s nail design is very versatile. You can easily recreate it in any other colours to suit your mood or outfit. For instance, try it in red, green and gold to create the perfect Christmas mani ;) hint, hint!
