I’d love to enter! The one nail art technique I really want to learn how to do is the water marble. I always end up with a huge mess whenever I try it, so I’m making it one of my goals for 2015 to master them!

I would like to learn how to do nailart with jewels and gemstones. Everytime I see someone with those, I wished I could do it — it’s so pretty and looks so hard.

Hi, Carolsue. Using jewels and gemstones really is not hard at all. Depending on the size of them, you can either just put them straight onto nail polish that hasn’t dried, and then paint over them with one or two coats of top coat, or you can just put a dab of nail glue on your nail and place them on that. The best way to put them on you nail is to use a really good pair of tweezers to pick them up, or get one of the wax pencils that available all over the place online wherever they sell stuff for nail art. Give it a go. I know you will love doing it as much as I do. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Carolsue says
Forget it..I’m not in Australia. Boo Hoo.
Christine Chipman says
Poor you, Carolsue. What a shame. Have a happy Christmas anyway

What an amazing giveaway, and such an amazing thing to do for Christmas. The one thing I’m really wanting to learn how to do with my nail art is water marble nails. The colour combinations are so awesome, and of course limitless, and they would give me heaps of opportunities to try out all my ulta3 nail polishes that I’ve found in my ulta3 Advent Calendar that my hubby bought me (and I think he’s buying me the cube for Christmas – fingers crossed), and of course all the other ulta3 polishes I already own. Being a pensioner, they are one brand of polish that I can afford and not feel guilty about it. Thanks for giving us this amazing opportunity to receive such a wonderful gift. Have a wonderful Christmas, and I’m looking forward to seeing what ideas you come up with in the New Year.

I forgot to say that I’m entering the competition. DUH!!! Sorry about that!

I’d love to learn a proper glitter gradient. Mine turn out lots of glitter or no glitter, and quite chunky.

Stamping. It’s not so much that I don’t know how it’s done, theoretically, but I just can’t get it looking nice!
carmen says
Watermarble! Because if done well it looks amazing!
Christine Chipman says
Wow, Maria. I can’t believe it. I won something for perhaps the first time ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much. I appreciate it more than you will ever know. This year has been one of fear, anxiety and severe depression due to the fact that I was diagnosed with breast cancer back in February. I had to have surgery to remove a 5 cm diameter area of my right breast, then chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and am now on anti-hormone therapy (to stop my body producing oestrogen which was feeding my cancer) and could be on it for up to 10 years. I pray every day that I am all clear, and hoping for the best, but only time will tell. My mantra is “I’m a breast cancer SURVIVOR – AND STAYING ONE! Winning this prize is probably the best way the year could have ended for me. Thank you once again, and congratulations to all the other winners. I hope you enjoy your prizes as much as I’m going to enjoy mine. I can’t wait to see what you have on offer for us in the new year. Your ideas are so inspirational, and I love your reviews of the nail polishes, but especially the tutorials. God bless you, and have a wonderful Christmas. Hugs OOOOXXXXOOOO
