MBFWA 2013 Aurelio Costarella presentation was a celebration of the designer’s 30 years in fashion. The show was a collaboration with artist Waldmer Kolbusz that offered an artistic interpretation of warm, calm and cool fashion palettes. The designs were spectacular, an eclectic mix of fashion styles dating back over decades. The highlights of the show were the amazing silver and black sequined head pieces contrasted with dramatic eye make-up and exaggerated eyebrows in dark charcoals, sage or peach (depending on the colour palette) finished with nude lips.
To complete the look, two nail designs in black and silver were matched to the headpieces. The black nails were done with OPI’s Black Onyx with OPI Matte top coat and black diamante. The silver nails featured OPI’s Designer Series Radiance with a Matte Top Coat, then re-applied DS Radiance topped off with OPI’s Which is Witch on the tips. OPI’s DS Radiance featured on the toes.
