Do you like nail art experiments? What better way to further your nail art skills and invent new techniques and designs.
Case in point, these black and white nails came to life by accident as a result of a nail art experiment. I was getting ready for the upcoming nail art masterclasses (on this weekend!) and needed to create samples of the 8 designs that I’ll be teaching. When I was doing the Stone Effect nail designs, one technique caught my attention and I decided to experiment further. It was not an easy or quick process, you may have seen my struggles on Snapchat (username: SoNailicious) last weekend. But after quite a few failed attempts, I finally nailed it! The result was these fabulous Stone Effect Black and White nails.
Used: Caption Base Coat, Mavala 49 White, Dior Black Out and Essie Good To Go top coat.
Wearing: Gunmetal ring.
So, how do you like these Black and White nails? I’m quite enjoying this new look. Yep, you saw it here first ;) I’m certainly eager to experiment more with this Stone Effect technique and develop more nail art ideas based on it.
In the meantime, if you’re in Sydney this weekend come to my Marvellous Stones workshop at the Beauty Expo. I’ll be teaching this and 3 other new and exciting techniques. So hurry if you haven’t book your place yet, there’s only 3 seats left! Book here.
Now over to you!
What about you, do you like experimenting with new nail art techniques?
