If you’re looking for a high impact manicure idea, you’ll enjoy this Graphic Black and White nail art. A great bonus, it’s super easy to do. Plus, I’m sure you already have black, white and silver (or holo) polishes in your collection. So literally, a no-effort nail art. You’d need though nail stencils! I used these Lightning Bolt stencils. But any other stencils will do too.
Without further ado, let’s see the how-to!
HOW TO:
- Paint all nails with 2 coats of silver or holographic polish and apply top coat*. Wait till your nails are touch-dry and apply these stencils as pictured.
- Now, work one nail at a time. Paint one half of the nail with white nail polish and the other half with black.
- Carefully, with tweezers remove the sticker.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 on all nails. Let them dry for 5 minutes, then apply 2 coats of a quick dry clear top coat and you’re done!
*It’s absolutely essential that you apply 1 thin layer of a fast drying top coat over the base. This will help you to prevent lifting the base polish with stencils.
Used: Color Club Harp On It and French Tip, Dior Black Out, Lightning Bolt nail stencils and Essie Good To Go top coat.
So what do you think about this Graphic Black and White nail art? So easy, right?
