Claim:
Gently and effectively removes dead tissue, leaving cuticles soft and pliable. Removes nail stains leaving nails whiter.
Reality:
ORLY Cutique Cuticle & Stain Remover is easy to use and it does effectively removes dead tissue. It even removes hard core, super rigid man cuticles and is perfect for pedicures. However, ORLY Cutique removes cuticles not eponychium. Don’t confuse the two. The product softens the eponychium too and may cause some minor dryness in the nail bed area. To avoid that, after rinsing Cutique off apply cuticle cream or oil to regain moisture.
Formula: The product is 5-free, but it obviously contains some strong ingredients that actually dissolve cuticles. Just make sure you don’t leave this product on your nails for longer than 1 minute and rinse it off thoroughly.
Verdict: Fantastic cuticle care product suitable as for women as for men and also great for pedicures. We were pleased with the results and the grooming qulities of ORLY Cutique. Just remember not to leave it on your nails for longer than 1 minute and use cuticle cream after cuticle removal.

Interesting! I use sally hansen cuticle remover sometimes, but honestly, it doesn’t really work well for me!

Hi Maria,
Your review has been really informative and has led me to but Orly Cutqiue. I read the instructions on the box and it said to apply on the cuticles, but that does not seem to me that it will whiten the nails… So I was wondering if you apply it to the full nail or just the cuticles?

Hi Karise, yes that’s right. Usually I apply ORLY Cutique to cuticles only. But if I need to whiten the nails I apply it over nails too. Wait about 5-10 seconds and then wash it all off. But if your nails have severe stains that may not help. Try brushing your nails with a tooth brush and whitening tooth paste, that can help a lot! Also, we’ll post a tutorial for DIY nail stain remover next week, that one will remove even hard core stains.
