Did you know that Lancome make fantastic nail polishes? I know, right?! When you’re thinking about a new lacquer to try (and buy), Lancome nail polish probably would not be the first you consider. However, Lancome lacquers have great formula and impressive colour palette. Plus, they are regularly releasing new interesting collections and the packaging is beautiful. The ergonomic elongated nail polish bottles are very easy to store as they don’t take as much space as some other funky luxury brands (Louboutin, I’m looking you).
Very unfortunate for me and other Aussie nail polish lovers, Lancome is poorly represented in Australia. Otherwise, I surely would expand my Lancome nail polish collection rapidly. The bright lemon yellow nail polish, Lancome 149 Jaune Grands Boulevards, that I’m showing you today has been purchased by me during our trip to Russia along with a few other lacquers that I’ve not had time to show you yet.
Last year I’ve been focusing heavily on finishing developing my own nail art brush range. The biggest launch in the SoNailicious life happened last week, which has been an incredibly exciting event but also quite a relief for me and my family too (poor Joseph, he’s turned into a househusband while I was slaying my ‘to-do’ lists). So now that the secret, i.e. brushes, is out I can dedicate more time to pure nail arting without and showing you all the new interesting products that I’ve accumulated during the last year. I have quite a few in my stash ;)
Speaking of the brushes, these Yellow Nails with Ocean Waves have been entirely hand painted with the new SoNailicious nail art brushes. I’ve used this liner nail art brush to paint smaller waves on pointer and ring fingers and this striping nail art brush for larger waves on middle, small and thumb fingers. Easy and quick!

LANCOME NAIL POLISH REVIEW:
Formula: 4-free. Very fast drying. Super opaque and extra glossy. Photos of the nail polish only – 2 coats without a top coat.
Application: A fabulous mid-width wide brush with rounded edges makes application very easy. No clean up required!
Finish: The two polishes that I’ve tried have a classic creme formula. They are highly pigmented, only 2 coats required to get fully opaque finish even for such light shades as Jaune Grands Boulevards.
Wearability: Very long lasting. The ones that I’ve tried, with a top coat lasted for 6 days without chipping.
Nail Art: Great for any kind of nail art and quite beautiful on its own, as you can see!
