If you’ve been following SoNailicious for a while, you’ll know I’m massive fan of fashion and always looking for some fun ways to bring the two of my passions (nail art and fashion) together. So today I present you with 5 awesome ways to match your nails to your clutch! It’s easier than you think, especially with so many pretty polishes, cool nail art tools and fabulous bags on the market this season, plus there’s a few useful tips and tricks from yours truly.
Here are 5 of my favorite nail-and-clutch pairings. Save for later or try them now!
1. Match The Details
Simply match one of the colours in your nail design to the colour of your bag.
Blue Half Moon Nails: Cirque Colors Acid Wash and NYFW. Wearing Gold Knuckle rings.
Blue Clutch: Daily Edited Midnight Navy pouch.
2. Match The Styles
A great option to match the overall look of your manicure to the style of your handbag.
Futuristic Black Nails: Dior Black Out + Black Striping Tape 2mm wide.
Futuristic Mirror Clutch: Alexander McQueen.
3. Keep It Cool
Another great option is to use a contrasting colour for your nail design but make sure it matches the ‘temperature’ of your bag, i.e. the overall look needs to be warm or cool colour.

4. Lighten Up
If the bag is dark pick the much lighter colour for your nails to make your manicure to stand out. But make sure to keep it within the same colour family, as per example 3.

5. Simple Geometry
Create a geometric pattern that matches your purse. You can either add one of the colours of your purse to your nail design or simply keep it all cool or warm.
