As you know, last Saturday I was in Melbourne for our Nail Stars Melbourne event in collaboration with Chelsea of Trophy Wife.  It was so great to meet everyone in person, talk about polishes, share tips and demonstrate how to use those cheeky striping nail art brushes correctly. 12 straight hours of nail art! I didn’t even know I was capable of painting nails for that long! I learned a few new things at the classes too. For example, Chelsea’s waffle nail design – giving it a go sometime soon.

The goodie bags were totally amazing! Big thanks to our exclusive sponsor Ulta3 for being so generous! We had more than enough polishes to use on the day and the colours were fantastic! Favorites – Ulta3 Blue Marlin, Cloud Nine (the colour I used as a base for these Geometric Nails), Over The Rainbow and Stop the Press (if you didn’t attend Nail Stars you can get the polishes here). Everyone was chuffed with the big bag they got to take home! It wasn’t just polishes though, there was a polish bag, dotting tool, a big bottle of polish remover, matte and clear top coats! Ulta3 set everyone up with everything they needed to do pretty much any nail art they want!

On the day, we taught 15 – 17 designs (that’s a lot!!!) at each class, which is a great foundation for doing your own nails. The designs can be used for anything from an accent nail, full set of the same pattern or a few different mix n’ match patterns. As one of the attendees said to me, “You’ve taught us techniques that can be used to do any design we like!” That was so nice to hear because our aim was to teach as much as possible in a 3 hour class. So, to receive such an overwhelmingly positive feedback face to face was truly rewarding! Once again, thanks everyone for coming!!!
