Yet another cool nail collection has just hit the stores in Australia – Maybelline Bleached Neons! Our international readers have probably have already seen it. Now it’s our turn to enjoy every joy summer has to offer – long days, weekends at the beach and sipping icy cocktails on a Sunday afternoon. All that calls for brighter colours that look stunning on tanned skin. Maybelline hits the spot with their new Bleached Neons collection, these colours are not just flattering, they’re also right on trend.

Collection: 4 limited edition colours – Chic Chartreuse (lime green), Sun Flare (soft orange-yellow), Coral Heat (soft coral) and Tropink (soft pink).
Formula: Well pigmented creme polish, 3-FREE but not fast drying and not cruelty-free. Three thin coats is enough to get even coverage (3 coats + top coat pictured), no white base required.
Application: Like all Maybelline Color Show polishes, these are easy to apply.
Finish: Not glossy at all. To enhance Maybelline Bleached Neons either apply matte top coat or glossy top coat to get a smooth finish.
Wearability: Lasted 4 days with a top coat.
Nail Art: Maybelline Bleached Neons nail polishes look particularly great when paired with white or with each other. Perfect for beach nails, ombre and colour block manicures.
Overall Impression: Trendy nail colours on a budget. To get the best out of Maybelline Bleached Neons you must use a top coat. If you’re after a high performance, all-in-one polish, these are not what you’re looking for. But if you’re looking for a cool summer colour to last 1 or 2 seasons then go for it. Favorite colours? The lime green Chic Chartreuse and soft orange Sun Flare.
Maybelline Bleached Neons availability: in Australia from October to December only – $5.95 here via Priceline or supermarkets.
Ring: Dainty Rings Set of 3.
Have you tried any colours from Maybelline’s Bleached Neons? Which colour is your favorite?
