The festive season is just around the corner and that means the new Diorific collection is here! Released only once a year for Christmas, Dior Diorific is one the most popular Holiday nail polish collections and of course, true to the SoNailicious tradition I had to get it. These limited edition colours are always divine, and the fact that they are Limited Edition makes them even more desirable.
This year Dior outdid themselves and released absolutely breathtaking Diorific Midnight Wish collection that includes 4 luxurious evening nail polishes and 1 topper:
- 220 Promesse – semi-sheer metallic gold with gold shimmer
- 360 Lively – a vintage pink with silver shimmer
- 760 Triomphe – metallic Christmas red
- 890 Audace – classic plum creme
- Lucky Star – a topper with large gold and silver glitter stars suspended in a clear base
These are classic Holiday colours, but each of them with a unique Dior spin. For instance, Lively is not just a pink creme but a stunning metallic shimmer, and the gold Promesse with extra shiny gold flakes is probably, the most gorgeous pure gold lacquer I’ve seen. Needless to say, the formulation and application is flawless. I’ve already tried all of 4 lacquers and tomorrow I’ll show you a design with Triomphe. So make sure to come back!
This year I skipped the Lucky Star topper, because as a nail artist who has an enourmous nail art supplies stash, I feel like paying $43 for glitter stars topper is a bit too much. I already have glitter stars in my stash and they only cost $2.90. However, I can see the appeal of this topper for general audience. It’s beautiful and quite unique. So if you’re a hard core Dior fan, get the Lucky Star too!
Overall Impression: The new Diorific Midnight Wish colours are timeless yet glamorous and perfect for the party season! Moreover, with such luxurious packaging and flawless formulation they will make a great Christmas treat – whether its a gift for yourself, your mum, sister or BFF!
