The two polishes I used for today’s manicure are from the designer collection Bloom Cosmetics nail polish shades. To create these shades Bloom collaborated with Emily Green, a Melbourne-based artist and colour guru. And, lucky me got a chance to test drive the two out of the 7 shades set. Navy and Multi Sparkle.
So what do we think about them? Scroll down to read the review!
REVIEW – Navy:
- Finish: Creme, very glossy.
- Formula: Great, highly pigmented signature Bloom formula. To achieve full coverage you’d need 2 coats.
- Brush: Medium. It requires some skill to be able to apply it flawlessly.
- Nail Art: great for any type of nail art.
REVIEW – Multi Sprakle:
- Finish: Multi glitter with fun large particles of different shapes – hearts, butterflies, grass.
- Formula: Great, dense enough. One layer is enough to produce nice glitter finish, the gradient pictured – three layers.
- Brush: Medium. It requires some skill to be able to apply it flawlessly.
- Nail Art: great for glitter placement, glitter gradients and jelly sandwich manicures. Really nice quality glitter particles, extra sparkly.
Emily Green Bloom Cosmetics nail polish collection overall impression: Beautiful creme polishes in unique, one of a kind shades. A bit expensive but that’s usual for Australia. Personal favorite from the collection is Multi Sparkle.
Available: from Bloom online store, Emily Green Navy and Multi Sparkle (New), RRP $19.95 here.
