Fall is almost here and the new nail polish collections have already began to arrive. One of the most interesting, in my opinion, is the new Fall 2017 Dior Metallics collection. It includes three shimmering metallics, Metallics, Enigma and Paradox, and a red creme Sophisticated. These beautiful limited edition colours are distinctively different, yet work really well together. With their metallic finish and shimmer the new Dior nail polishes are pure luxury and surely will take away any melancholy associated with this season.
This time I picked up only two colours – the golden nude Enigma and pinkish grey Metallics. While Paradox, a black-green metallic with fine green and blue shimmer, is certainly a beautiful and unusual colour, it didn’t suit my skin tone. The same as the warm deep red Sophisticated. Both colours are too warm to make

Finish/Colour:
- Metallics – a warm golden nude with extra-fine pink shimmer.
- Enigma – a warm golden nude with extra-fine gold shimmer.
Formula: 5-free, fast drying and long-lasting. The formula is highly pigmented. You’ll only need 2 thin coats to get full coverage, even for the light Enigma.
Application: The new Dior Metallic polishes are the most flawless metallic nail polishes. They cover your nails evenly without any streaks or visible lines, which is pretty impressive. Plus, the signature Dior’s extra-wide brush makes it very easy to apply nail polish flawlessly.
Wearability: Very long-lasting, with a top coat Dior lacquers can last up to 7 – 10 days without chipping.
Nail Art: suitable for any kind of nail art. Also these metallic polishes would look great mattified.
Dupes: I couldn’t find any dupes for the new Dior nail polishes. Dior Metallics is somewhat similar to Chanel Rose Fusion. However, Rose Fusion is a much warmer and has a duochrome effect shifting from bronze to green-ish grey.

Overall Impression: The new Dior Metallics polishes are stunning and as always, the formula is flawless. In my opinion Metallics and Enigma are definitely two polishes worth investing in. With a flawless metallic finish they look stunning and flatter any skin tone.
