This vibrant turquoise nail polish is one of the colours from the new Dior Cool Wave collection. It’s called Splash for a reason. Just one look at this lacquer makes me want to go on vacation, preferably somewhere by the beach with crystal clear turquoise water :) Case in point, Dior Splash is a perfect nail colour for summer, whether you’re planning to spend it at the beach or not, this lacquer will put you in the right mood.
Dior Splash review: this lacquer has a flawless, fast-drying and long lasting formula, just like all Dior nail polishes. It’s highly pigmented – only 2 thin coats result in a perfectly opaque finish. And a great bonus, this vibrant stunner does not stain your nails, like most of bright turquoise and emerald nail polishes do.
Design: I opted to use the two colours from the collection – Splash and Blop. The original idea was to recreate a design that will look like crystal clear sea water. But my efforts resulted in a more of a classic turquoise nail art. To achieve the look I used the SoNailicious 04 Slayer brush.
I developed this ultra sharp flat brush specifically for one stroke nail art, but it seems to be working really well for brush marbling too. Double win;) And the fact, that those of you who purchased Slayer labelled it as ‘the best clean up brush on the market’ makes it a TRIPLE WIN!
