It’s pretty amazing how OPI keeps coming up with one great nail polish collection after another! We’re still in awe of the Gwen Stefani range and now the new OPI Brazil collection has arrived. Consisting of the twelve bright Earthy shades, each is beautiful on it’s own – it was so hard to decide on favorite colours. Eventually the choice was made, here’s my picks:
- I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana – yellow creme
- Amazon… Amazoff – dark green teal creme
- Red Hot Rio – red crelle
- OPI Scores A Goal! – milk chocolate creme
- Next Stop… The Bikini Zone – grey-lilac-pink shimmering duochrome (not featured in this post).
These were the polishes used for today’s Tribal Nail Art. OPI polishes are some of the best in terms of nail art. They’re fast drying, well pigmented, easy to clean up and of course, their signature wide brush makes application easy.
As for the nail design, it was inspired by the colours of the collection (tribal = Brazil rainforest). It was all done with this nail art brush. I’m thinking about making a couple of nail art tutorial videos to show different free-hand techniques. Are you interested?
