DAY 26 – Pastel nails
From runways to nail polish, pastels have recently taken over the world. How they could not? After nineties grunge and the unisex noughties, we’re coming back to all things feminine in fashion. So that’s the challenge for today’s manicure, a pastel look that’s fresh and feminine yet not too girly and suitable for any age. Of course, it’s also very easy to do!
This manicure can be worn during the day or night. Even though we’re using pink, bright green and blue, the final look is so washed out you can barely see where one colour ends and another starts. To take this look from day to night, just add one layer of clear shimmering top coat or a layer of matte top coat (it will define and brighten up the colours). Finally, for a brighter version of these pastel nails, use darker shades (green or blue) as a base instead of white.
