Have you already seen the new OPI Fiji collection? It’s divine! The colours are so versatile, you can do anything with them. From holiday perfect Palm Leaf nails to edgy geometric and of course, anything spring related, including Easter. I’ve been even wearing the metallic blue OPI Do You Sea What I Sea while skiing in -25C when I was in Siberia!
I’ve already done quite a few designs with OPI Fiji as a part of my ongoing collaboration with OPI. You may have already seen some of the looks on OPI blog. This Gentle Fijian Palms nail design, however, is a total impromptu. When I was brainstorming my OPI Fiji nail design ideas in my Little Book of Nail Art, the pink, mint and teal colour combo looked so great I just saw a palm leaf design right there.
HOW TO: this design is entirely free-hand painted. So to get the look, first paint all colours with your base colour and then using the liner nail art brush paint on the palm leaf pattern. I went for a large palm leaves, but I think a variation of large and small (two small leaves on one nail) would look even better. So there you have it! Another nail art idea ;) Just don’t forget to show me ->#sonailicious, if you try it!
