Let’s kick off Halloween 2015 with these Half Moon Spider Web Nails. If you’re looking to combine elegance with a bit of gothic horror this nail design is for you. It is also terribly easy to do. For a step-by-step tutorial, check out Elina’s Halloween spider web nail art.
I used light grey and gunmetal polishes but it can be done in any combination you like. Here’s a great chance to try some unusual colour combinations or different finishes. For example, to add a bit of fabulousness to an otherwise plain nail design, I painted the webs with shimmering gunmetal instead of black. Also, it would be great to use a black or silver textured nail polish for 3D spider webs. As for the finish, I tried both matte and gloss and found matte (1st photo – below) looked the best.
Used: Mint Polish Let’s Jet and Fancy, Essie Good To Go and Morgan Taylor Mattes A Wrap.
Wearing: Gunmetal Knuckle ring and Mimco bracelet.
Have you started planning your Halloween manicure? How do you like these Spider Web nails? Keen to try it?
