The Best 5 Hand Creams for Dry Skin

Categories: Nail Care

top 5 hand creams for dry handsHands.. I can’t stress enough how important is to look after your hands properly. Listed below are the best 5 hand creams for dry skin that were chosen based on personal experience. I’ve tried a great variety of creams and so far, these are the best!

1. Clarins Hand & Nail treatment cream – 29 AUD ($30) – here.

Protects, strengthens, moisturises, revitalises and soothes.. is there anything this cream can’t do? It feels divine on your skin and smells delicious. So if you have a spare $30 to spend on this cream – do it! Your hands and nails will be grateful!

2. Sally Hansen Radiant Hands, Nails & Cuticles Hand Cream – 7.25 AUD ($7.25) – here

I’m a big fan of all Sally Hansen products. Good quality at a reasonable price. This cream is a great hand and cuticle moisturiser that lasts up to 24 hours. Use overnight for maximum effect.

3. Trilogy Everything Balm – 27.95 AUD  – here.

While technically this is not a hand cream it still deserves a mention due to its unbelievable ability to transform dry skin. Its name says it all. It can be used for anything – elbows, dry hands or flaky cuticles to make them smooth and instantly photogenic (nail bloggers – take note!)

4. Aveeno Intense Relief hand cream – 6.29 AUD ($6.29) – here.

This hypoallergenic hand cream prevents dry skin. Highly recommended for those who live in a colder parts of the world. Cold and heaters are your hands’ worst enemy (believe me, I’ve lived in Siberia) but this cream can help you fight them both.

5. Nivea Anti-Age Q10 hand cream – 7.50 AUD ($7.50) – any local chemist.

What I particularly like about this cream that its moisturising formula is quickly absorbed by the skin. It also contains UVA/UVB filters that protect against harmful sunlight. These two qualities make it a perfect cream for daytime use.

What about you, dear readers? What’s your favorite hand cream?
