If you like bright & edgy nail designs, you’ll love our Spikes & Lines abstract nail art. The inspiration for this manicure came from these Sea Siren colours – parrot green Mojito Mania and neon lavender Gossip. For me it’s such a compelling combination, I had to try and create something interesting with it. The abstract geometric shape was also influenced by last week’s Nail Stars Sydney masterclass where I taught Aztec nails and a couple other geometric designs. I had the Aztec geometry fresh in my mind.
Sometimes it feels good just to sit down and paint something for your own pleasure with the colours you love. A bit of nail-therapy after a very busy couple of weeks. Oh, and speaking of Nail Stars Sydney, it was fantastic! You probably saw some of the photos on my Instagram and Snapchat (SoNailicious). The results exceeded my expectations, but that’s another story. You can read all about here.
For now, enjoy this Abstract Aztec goodness….

As always, if you recreate this Spikes & Lines nail art, I’d love to see your work tag it #SoNailicious on Instagram and Twitter
