Christmas Tree Nail Art Tutorial

This Christmas tree nail art is quick & easy to recreate yet it captures the festive spirit perfectly. All you need is a toothpick, 4 nail polishes in different shades and a little bit of patience to draw a tiny Christmas tree on one nail as shown above. The tutorial below demonstrates how to do it flawlessly.

HOW TO:

1. Apply two coats of nude nail polish on each nail. Let it dry. I used OPI Don’t Pretzel My Buttons.

2. Dip the end of a toothpick into dark green polish, then dot it on your nail. Form the shape of a Christmas tree with dots.

3. Wipe the end of a toothpick and dip it into metallic gold or shimmer polish. Then dot it on your nail in between the green dots. The golden dots represent baubles/decorations.

4. Repeat step 3 with deep red nail polish. Apply a top coat over your festive nail and let it dry.

What I also like about this manicure is that it looks great on short nails (like mine). Not to mention you can re-create it in whatever colours you like. For example, dark nails with the tiny Christmas tree in light shades would also look great.
